7 seater Range Rover

Hi all

Am going to be in need of/looking for a 7 seater

need Advice/ideas

Few rules:

NO PEOPLE CARRIERS

NO AUTOMATICS

ALL SEATS MUST BE 3 POINT NOT LAP BELTS

I did see a range rover with 7 seats on ebay but WELL over of my price range (and an auto)

yes I know about the discovery but always fancied a range rover

budget is a bit tight I have my pride and joy(completely worthless really but its my baby) then the work truck (Hilux cannot sell needed for work)

so this will be a 3rd car "family car"

I have seen a few others ETC but seeing this range rover made me sit up and take notice.

Ideally a late 90s model would be great.

Any ideas advice.......

yup been there not really impressed found a good shogun

28TD GLS nice rig £1500 AND it had 2500k finance left on it!

And most are auto and MILES away from me the rest I've looked at

and well didn't like them for me the drive was wrong.

Then I found a disco again had issues IE no MOT and a misfire up for £2250.

seams people even want money for a dead horse today lol.

Landrovers are expensive but hold the value very well

a Jap motor has all the whistles and bells though- a decent 2.8 Pajero can be bough for less than £2000 all day- Ive owned a couple and never had much to moan about come servicing mots repairs etc

and they are a very powerful motor- good enough off road with AT tyres

Les

7 seater Range Rover.... Yes its called a Discovery lol

There were some very nice and expensive custom stretch jobs (mainly for export) but no a factory 7 seater IIRC Disco 7 seater manual is good but 2 inwards seats in the boot, Some Ssangyongs were 7 seater Rhodius? 4k for manual diesel 04/05 plate?

Nissan Patrol? Huge motor but not cheap to buy or run Landcrusier the same,

If its as a 3rd family car why not a people carrier? better comfort, better MPG, more choice, designed for the job? Zafira? Espace? Voyager?

If it must be 4x4 terrano is a good call (possibly Ford maverick but not sure if that came with 7 seats)

Well being a third car I.e the 1st two are mine (work and "sports toy"-worthless but I'd still soo if you damaged it)

so you can guess who really is going to end up with this one......

and she hates people carriers more than me-on another note the insurance on the people carriers and estates is more than the cars are (third party) but we are getting quoted very good deals on the 4x4s

example comparethemarket quoted us less than £600 (comp) for a 3.9I V8 disco (and her still being a learner)

Hence why we are hunting 4x4s.
