chezza1986
Just to see which manufacture is the favorite amongst everybody from vermin, game or wildfowl shooters through to clay shooters.

poontang
I voted Eley, as I use them for clays and pigeons. I have been using Gamebore for 'fowling, but seriously unimpressed with them so have bought some Bornaghi's today to see if they're any better. I've heard good reports on them but guess I'll find out for myself soon enough.
njc110381
I voted Eley too although Gamebore is another make I like. Reason for supporting Eley is that they are quite a good quality cartridge but above all they have a very good fibre wad range. I'm a big follower of fibre and will never use plastic for anything other than really heavy or speciality loads where plastic is the only option. I think Eley may just be the only manufacturer offerring fibre .410 cartridges? I used to use Eley Olympic Trap for clay shooting and find their budget Pigeon cartridges very acceptable too. chezza1986
I have voted for Eley because they are all I really use now. My main supplier has a wide range of Eley products for reasonable prices. I first used their pigeon loads and found them to be really effective so thought I'd give their superb clay load a go and again was impressed with the performance. Now the pheasant season has opened I have bought some Hi-Flyers and have knocked down some good cock birds at good ranges. Also I use them on crows and with 3/4 choke it really puts them in their place.... flat on the deck. I do still use some other brands for magnums but that's only because my supplier doesn't stock Eley magnums. Also their shot sizes are English so if it says 6 or 7 1/2 on the box it means that unlike our European counterparts.

Whitebridges
I voted Hull Cartridge. Sterling Game in both 12 and 20 bore is all you can ever need. Hull FITSAC 6.5 shot 28g work very well on pigeon. Truth is i buy all brands. Depends what's in at the time I visit the shop(s).
Edward
Hull They are consitent and pretty clean burning and most importantly (for me) they look nice and come in a nice box

Vince Green
I know there is no such thing in reality as a British cartridge these days but I do believe we must support the home producers. Eley or Hull in my case.
Bloke
I voted Eley, as I can only shoot clays and I have found the Eley Firsts are consistent across the range from 21 to 28gm loads, so as a novice,I don't really have to adjust my sight picture - 1 thing less to concentrate on. They don't seem too dirty and the price seems reasonable
