I finally got my licence, and thanks to getting on well with the girlfriends dad, a nice borrowed 12g over and under. I have permission to shoot one farm, 2 mins walk from the house. Pretty sure i'll be able to get permission from the other 2 farms in the area due to family friendships and having previously worked for them. Been reading throught the forum for tips etc, a good wealth of info on here! I think i must be pretty lucky with the farmers here. I just wondered up and got permission to take anything except pheasant on all their land! Thing is, i dont have any kit yet, or experience, which brings me to a little proposition. Would any of the more senior/experienced members nr the deal/dover area, or willing to travel, fancy the ability to shoot a rape field, in return for passing on some know how?
