Can't afford a Winchester SX3

The internals are not that different from my Hatsan semi auto - looks like a Turkish copy of a Turkish copy with added bling at twice the price to me

Nobody can tell until a few have been in the field for a while, and the internals of many semis look "similar", but this looks far more of a gun than a Hatsan on the face of it.

Time will tell, there are some decent/value guns out of Turkey, they are not all turkeys :good:

The wooden ones acceptable but the garish anodised red thing is brutally wrong.

With modern manufacturing methods im sure its fairly well put together but i could'nt turn up at a clay shoot with one.

It would go like this......

Someone: ah a Winchester?

me: no, its not.

Someone: oh well it looks like one.

Me: yeah but i can't afford the real thing so I spent nearly 700 notes on this pig instead, sorry whats that?....yes i suppose I am an idiot thanks!

Imitation is the Highest Form of Flattery....

I doubt it would realistically retail for over £600 as you can get an SX3 for £900 but for £4-500 ideal for wannabes noticed a few "flanigans" and tend to be shot by younger males from 12-20 or middle-aged guys and always seem to have the matching vest slip and bag. That said some may find it garish the SX3 is a good gun,

That is horrible! - looks like it should be about two hundred quid!

I have the SX3 Flannigan. I shoot it as its the clay version of the SX3 (extended chokes etc), fits me like a glove and is superbly balanced and set up for clays. Its an absolutely brilliant gun at a bargain price. Pick up a normal SX3 and then the Flannigan, if its for clays there is something about the Flannigan that sets it apart from the less colourful ones.

I dont have the matching bag or vest etc though.

Quite true was merely an observation old boy, that's the point of most Turkish guns though isn't it - they all look similar to something else only this one is also a similar price :)
