Miss Retter
Hey just got my first shot gun its a miroku but not sure what model it is, the bloke I brought it off said it was a 6000 however local gundealer said it was ORE so not sure what it is, has original barrel 26" and normal stock, beautiful engraving in black through out,it has a serial number 607749 but no other indications of what it could be, if any one could help it'll be great, Thanks L
Scully
Hi Miss Retter, can't say I know a lot about Miroku shotguns, except for the quality, which is excellent...very popular guns. There are quite a few different models....you could try 'googling' the make and model, see what it comes up with.Happy shooting. Catamong
It sounds like a very old model, I hope you didn't pay over the odds for it? Cat.

seeker
IF there are 2 letters after the serial number this may help Date of Manufacture A two digit code Z=1 T=6 Y=2 R=7 X=3 P=8 W=4 N=9 V=5 M=0 I borrowed a black action Miroku long ago. & nicely made and finished gun: I seem to remember the barrels were chopper lump like the 6000 series. Gordon R
If you post a photo - I'm sure you will get the answer. There are a few people on here who really know their Mirokus - not me.
