Imperfection
Nice one and good to see a break from the norm! I've tried taking my Bullmastiff shooting, but he has the attentive span of a goldfish.

The Duncan
You couldn't take my ridgebacks in a hide - the smell emanating from their back ends would make it uninhabitable, we are talking maggot-gagging gas!

activeviii
Nice to see differant breads in the hide but be a little careful, at 7 months old his hearing hasn't fully developed so good chance of deafness before time. but at end of day your dog your choice

Cookiemonsterandmerlin.
Nice dog I dont get the 7 month old comments I have 4 gundogs all have had diffrents Merlin my current dog was shooting with me at 7 months old. If you shoot alot and have the dog in the hide there hearing will go be it that you introduce them at 7 months or 7 years . The best way to save there hearing is to put them in a postion to help the shooting not be so servere on there ears EG not right next to you. So dogs are more than capable of joining you at that age without it spoiling them but you also ruin another dog. Cheers OTH
apache
Nice to see differant breads in the hide but be a little careful, at 7 months old his hearing hasn't fully developed so good chance of deafness before time. but at end of day your dog your choice Hearing works by little cilia in your ear [think little hairs] that move and transmit the sound to something the brain can 'hear'. You are born with them, they can only get less as people or the dog's life goes on. Cotton wool in the ears can help - most dogs are very tolerant of it. blackbirdtrev
I had a Doberman and took it clay shooting once but he was not impressed with the noise. Poor ******, never took him again.
