UKPoacher
Regata with taped seems, water proof and breathable - only about £20 and come in a small carry case to fit in your pocket. Cannot from most out door shops. I use this type too. You need some polyester trousers or tracky bottoms under them and this gives warmth and waterproofing. Don't wear cotton trousers under waterproof leggings as they will soak up the moisture.
poorpeet
I bought those Deerhunter one's that are on special offer. They've been great. Light and comfortable. They dont seem warm when you put them on but they seem to retain heat when you are out and about.

HDAV
I quite fancied the look of these for some reason http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/shop/outdoor-clothing/waterproof-clothing/as-new-german-army-issue-unlined-439403.html i like the idea of the braces as in the past with over trousers they always seem to fall down.... njc110381
I have some German army green (not camo) over trousers that are brilliant. I've led in a wet field for over an hour with no leaks at all and they're cheap as chips! About as cheap as you'll ever find good quality goretex I should think. Vince Green
We buy waterproofs from Park Royal Timbers Ltd, 22 Sunbeam Road, Park Royal NW10 6JL the brand name is "DRI"for issue to our staff. 0208 838 1542. Buy at least one size and maybe two sizes bigger for comfort and to cover outside clothing. You need a loose fit. Good and hardwearing and a bloody sight cheaper than the stuff sold in outdoor stores as country wear. Only available in blue but does anybody really care when the alternative is getting wet?
