sutty
Heres a quick piccy of the new "toy", took her out yesterday and zeroed it in etc to 80yds. she is now "on the button". I only put a few shots (prob 40 or so) through it, but it seems to already prefer Eley's to winnies, i will keep mixing and matching to find the right one. I expect once the barrell gets run in i will get a better idea. Regards Sutty

deadeye ive
Eleys mate ..................are you finding that the Winnies won't cycle and keep jamming? Also If I may advise ...........Bring your zero down to 50m as the group opens up somewhat at 80yds with this £3 a box ammo . A good lining of wax in the rifling won't hurt either Enjoy Ive

sutty
Beatingisbest, its a semi auto mate. Deadeye ive,you got it right on the head, the winnies not cycling and jamming, but to be fair it only happened a couple of times, although the eley were spot on. time will tell. I will do as you suggest and zero it at 50 and see how it goes. (As for CCI, the gunsmith wouldn't sell me any) Cheers lads, Sutty.

webber
I had loads of problems with CCI in my sako. Tried Winchester which were Ok, but the Eley have out performed them, and so far not even one jam. webber
Hunter
CCI's are too long for the Sako's. They are a no go.. Infact they barely cycle properly in most well made bolt actions from what I know of

Sutty For a few quid you can uprate the extraction claw if you want to run Winnies but I'd stick to eleys ...........Look on their web site mate for these 22 LR HIGH VELOCITY SOLID High velocity gives increased striking energy Outstanding accuracy at ranges up to 100m .22 LR HIGH VELOCITY HOLLOW All the benefits of High Velocity Solid but with the additional stopping power provided For ranges 70yds and beyond me thinks Ive
