tomaddy525
Just read an article about a new semi from Beretta called the ES100. It sounds really good for the price. Has anybody got one to tell us what they're like?
Catweazle
It feels really nice, slim and light, but I was put off by it being recoil operated rather than gas. A used a400 wasn't much dearer and seemed a better buy to me.

0145wirbelwind
I got my local gunshop to get one in. The gun looks cheap and nasty and i did not like the finnish. I did not shoot the gun , i just did not like the feel of it. It is more Benelli than a beretta. For just a bit more money i got the 391 sporter 2 witch i love to shoot It is probelly a great gun but it is not for me
chrispti
Just a few posts,(out of quite a few) all readily available using the ''search'' facility http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/155627-new-beretta-es100-semi-auto/page__view__findpost__p__1323851 http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/147956-baretta-es-100/page__view__findpost__p__1259188 http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/145993-crow-shooting-with-the-new-es100/page__view__findpost__p__1243364 http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/154314-semi-auto/page__view__findpost__p__1329003
pigeon predator
Hi mate I've got a new ES100 I think it's great, I use 30gr carts in it but tried a few 24gr through it and they cycle too. It nice and light, very pointable and a joy to use. I'd certainly recommend them to anyone mate
Pykie
I got one just after they came out, part exchanged my Webley 812 auto for it. As said above, light handling and comes up nice, feels like a 20 bore (which is what I use for game shooting) Took it out for its first try on rooks on a cut maize field, shot 54 mixed corvids which included two left and rights, a triple and shooting two jackdaws with one shot twice. Cycled ounce of 7s no problem. Also had two foxes with it, cycled 42 gram BB no trouble. Only downside is the way u empty the magazine, which i find quite fiddly. Have to push back a catch under the action and pop out each cartridge, rather then press a button on the bottom and cock the shells out like most autos. shaun4860
Why dont you have a look in the guns for sale section there appears to be a mint beretta 303 supersport for £350...its dissapeared.... I might cause an arguement here but in my opinion its a far far better gun than the ES100 which is a budget derived gun made for beretta by benneli... :yp: shaun Edited March 9, 2011 by shaun4860

Hardwoods Green
The gun is actually made by Benelli ( well under license)and is also available with the Benelli name on, called a Premium Plus
Fenlander
Can't belive Beretta put there name on this gun, bought one on impulse, and regretted it as soon as i used it. If you want a Beretta semi on a budget,i'd look at the outlander,or better still a second hand 391 ,you'll get a lot better gun for your money.
