well today i decided to have a pop into aldi's see what offers they had on diy tools, and came across this handy little folding saw, which first thing popped into my head was bush and branch trimming while out shooting. it is ideal for hide making or those branches that get in your way when putting your hide up, ideal just to pop into your shooting/decoy bag  so here it is............. :good:

garden and camping saw

saw blade length 180mm/unfolded

saw tooth length 6.0mm

price of this handy tool £2.50 :good:

Why do you need to cut branches from trees to build a hide.Buy some hide netting and some poles.

If everyone that goes shooting cuts of branches there will be no trees left.

depending on the field.....you dont always have to take a hide and poles....as you can build your own into a hedge..i have and its a great hide! does that answer your ??! :good:

I dont think many cut branches down when hide building  i think most, just trim away things that snag the net or obstruct vision from the hide  BB

Trimming lower conifer branches for hide building is probabley doing the landowner a favour , especially if they are overhanging a field.
