humperdingle
I did Auto bolt release - Just a simple filing or grinding job; Replaced the steel buffer pin with a polymer one; Did a slight polishing of hammer/sear, and cleaned/polished the bolt. I have the same synthetic stainless 10/22, but replaced the stock with a folding synthetic version.

steve42
Before you do anything else get a trigger kit
farmshooter
what does the trigger kit do, is it the same as a CZ trigger kit? FS
wildfowler.250
http://www. rimfirecentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13 Try that website. There is bulk info on 10/22. I have banned myself from looking at their custom builds :yp:
Vermincinerator
Two of the best mods you can carry out to aid reliable feeding, is to polish the recoil spring guide and form a small .015" to .020" radius on the bottom half of the chamber Ian. rimfire4969
I have had my 10/22 for about 5 years, in that time i have had the fun of doing loads of mods, and the big reason i still have it. Buffer New trigger unit Volquazen barrel Had a few stocks but have ended up with a Boyd one Bolt release Extended Mad and lots of bits i can't remember. I also have a CZ 17hmr and all i have done to that is a trigger kit, out of the box the CZ is a lot better an a 10/22, but i just love the idea of when i am board with it i change it. Might not be everyones cup of tea but i love it.
humperdingle
Might not be everyones cup of tea but i love it. I like stocks like yours This is mine... Basic, but very functional and light/compact so I can sling it easily if I also have the shotgun.
bullet boy
Firstly I would change the Trigger unit as the Standard factory one is not good IMO.I bought a Rimfire Trigger unit which has a nice crisp squeeze to it unlike the tight Standard version. I also replaced the original wooden stock with a Rubber Hogue Stock which has a lovely grip to it. I also bought a Weaver Rail which in some peoples eyes isn't that necessary but I like it!
