Crows from unusual hide

Went out yesterday morning and set up inside a cattle trailer, dropped the ramp and opened the wooden gates, drapped the net around them and sat on a plastic drum. Have used this set up before. The Trailer is on the flight line into the cattle sheds behind.Did not have any decoys but soon had a couple with the 12g which I put out in front on a bare piece of earth 5yds infront of me.Stayed for 2 hours and shot 14 crows and Jackdaws, some of which fell into the long grass and were unretrievable due to not wanting to damage the crop.( and it was long so hid the birds) The sun was behind me and I had birds almost flying into the trailer, so much so that I took a couple sitting down and took one bird freehand, bit like trick shooting. :rolleyes:post-12946-0-75062700-1303633740.jpg

Crows are cautious critters... It's amazing, though, how they will land 20 yards from a vehicle, even if there's somebody in it, but if you happen to drive past a field of them 100 yards away, and stop the vehicle, they're off :D

Top hide, mate, and ideal for keeping dry. I bet it's handy for keeping the summer sun off too :good:
