WERE Rabbit story

This was reported on GMTV this morning, the gardeners have bought in a young lad with an air rifle to sort this out. If it is as big as the reporters make out he will need a howitzer :/

It will probably turn out to be a plasticine dog with changes into a rabbit every full moon :) :( :D

Still if he does shoot it it will feed an army for a week.

Cheers

Martin

Grower Jeff Smith, 63, said: "This is no ordinary rabbit. We are dealing with a monster.

"It is absolutely massive. I have seen its prints and they are huge, bigger than a deer. It is a brute of a thing."

Ok stop me if i'm wrong but deer prints I have seen are small and look nothing like paws (what with them having hooves and all).

Don't even get me started on animal welfare types wanting the poor rabbit trapped rather than shot.

I don't think the person describing it, is that familiar with wildlife.

Muntjac are shades of brown and have quite long ears.

When feeding with their backsides in the air, smaller muntjac could look a bit like large hares, especially in twilight conditions.

I also think the "deer like hoof prints" are a bit of a clue. :/
