chrispti
Are they up to the job for pigeons and crows and if you use sub rounds are they quiet thx mark Yes I used the Hushpower 30g #5's subsonic loads to good affect. The stock is short and the gun does take some getting used to. Its very front heavy and using the subsonic loads, your lead will need to be increased
Zapp
I wish these werent so expensive. My main farm is dotted with roosting woods, meaning that unless you have a number of guns to keep them moving there are times when you only get a handful of shots. sitsinhedges
I shall be dusting mine off for a bit of decoying again soon. Think mine is an older model with lighter baffles which helps They're fine for average shotgun ranges and decoying where noise is an issue

retromlc
They are good, but do take some getting used to,and I'm still trying, quiet enough but will lift pigeons that have settled in a tree 70 meters away ,but still very good on days when no wind and sound travels.with full choke you need to be shooting at around 30 meters ,I patterened mine and at 15 meters pattern is about 12" across. An expensive but handy tool. Rare second hand so most people who buy them tend to keep them. i'd like to go lamping with mine,
Greenhunter
I've had one a while now. Doesn't get that much use but is invaluable in noise sensitive areas which is probably why people hang on to them. The O/U version I find very quiet. I have had crows staying put 200yds away whilst shooting at the other side of the field. I have modified mine to raise the comb and lengthen the butt which helps with the tendency for them to shoot low and also the balance. The weight helps me with the swing through as it takes some stopping once it gets started but it does take a while to get used to. I suggest that you pattern it and then take it to the clay ground before you try it on live quarry. Especially if you like being the center of attention and enjoy being talked about And one more thing...the 2nd barrel is cocked by pushing the opening lever all the way forward! They should tell you that but I thought mine was faulty until I rang the manufacturers They are fun....enjoy. GH
sitsinhedges
Mine shoots to the point of aim which seems to be unusual for hushers. Had several 30 yard bunnies with it last week by just sitting them on the bead and pulling the trigger.
