Met up with stu at 4.30pm and headed for the pea stubble ,found a nice few birds but on 2 large fields .Left stu on 1 to get setup and i went to cover the other .We were both soon set up but i soon worked out i was in the wrong place so uped sticks and moved to the other side of the field .

We were pushing the birds around well between us tho the birds were not decoying to well for stu as they were coming from behind and all heading to the magnet . For me they were decoying welltho i missed a few right sitters

Packed up at 7.30 pm and between us we had 59 woodies and a feral ,was a good few hours out :good:

By the looks of it, not a bad day at all. I tend to avoid shooting pigeons in the summer due to the breeding cycle, but I understand it does have to be done.

Thats up to you but they do breed all year round now days anyway just more in the summer

Really? It was only yesterday that you said that you were thinking about STARTING to shoot pigeons with an air rifle, and wanted pointers on a rotary :hmm:
