Don't forget to take Peter's mobile number with you in case there's any stands that flummox. I'm not sure if that was patronising enough, so I'll end it with "good luck love, and I hope the recoil doesn't put you off". Ooooo how we larfed and kept larfing

Ian E
Well that was a long way to go to see so many long faces, plenty of edge on testy birds today, I think we got a little lucky with the weather shooting the first 9 stand before the rain started, we had the last 3 stands by the farm house left to shoot. The rain let up a little so what should of been maybe 20 mins of shooting in light rain turned into an hour standing around waiting for the to fix the traps :( The rabbit stand ran out if petrol mid way thru which was quickly dealt with, but the que was pretty big as the simo pair stand had been broken down for some time. After much waiting and swapping of traps and mucho skin soaking rain, I couldnt see a bloody thing as my glasses were full of water I really must get myself a cap !! (insert sponsorship logo here) Me 67 let at least 5 away I shouldn't, which put me 1st in C Class when I left, but there were still a few cards to come in 63 for Dave Walker 55? Chris Ellis And I won't mention Keiths in public else he will kill me I think a lot of people just gave up trying half way around, good targets on the whole good refereeing, just a shame about the break downs, and was that 3 pair on report of the same White bird dropping down the bank all about someone stuck for ideas ? Next outing for the Merseyside mafia on the 24th !
Chard
Yes we did **** as well. We'd only got 2 stands shot when the rain started and that was it for me, I don't do rain  Scores on the doors Azzurri - 80 allegedly. He must have left the sheep alone NickyT - 71 Canthitathing - 67 Chard - 65 Timps - 59 John Rogers - 50-something Paulos - hahahahahahahahaha Didn't finish   Load of old cock Sportrap at Rufforth beforehand was more enjoyable, but we still didn't excel ourselves : John Rogers - 79 Well shot chap, might get C Class with that NickyT - 78 Chard 76 Timps - 69 Paulos - 67   Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarf Edited July 10, 2011 by Chard

Nicky T
Thoroughly enjoyable day out and plenty of good humoured banter to be had at both grounds today Superb targets at both Rufforth and North Wolds; got caught out by a couple but figured them out in the end so another valuable step up the learning curve
