elmar fudd
i am about to swap my air arms s400k with air arms moderator and nikko sterling 3-9x40 scope for a logun axsor with a hawke 3-9x50 scope and a moderator, i was really up for it but do you think its a good deal the major draw is the 8 shot mags on the axsor but is my s400 a better gun? i really dont know what to do help please soon as possible, thanks fudd
turbo33
Stick with the AA. You won't get better accuracy than an AA and if its the shot count/magazine thats swaying you, get one of these. http://rowanengineering.com/products1.htm Absolutely no contest imho. elmar fudd
do like mine but its the single shot, even with one of those magazines its still basically single shot as you have to cyle it yourself fudd
magman
AA and logun don't deserve to be in the same sentence though

-Mongrel-
Air Arms have a rock solid reputation, Logun have a poor rep in general....there's a good reason for that. I had an S16 MkII, hated it! Can't comment on the Axsor, swore I'd never have another Logun.
baconbuttie
I have a Webley Axsor in .22 and a S400K in .177 with a Rowan mag. The Axsor rarely comes out of the cabinet, whereas the 400 is out almost every day. Keep the 400 !
Tiger955i
HI Mate. Keep the AA. Great guns very very accurate and good costomer service should you ever need it. If you really want a multishot trade the S400 in for an S410. I too would avoid the logun.
-Mongrel-
The S400's are accurate over longer ranges too, I popped a bunny last night with my .177, it was raining and I estimated the range at between 40 and 45 yds, 45 is my outer limit. I fired and it went straight down, clean brain shot. When I recovered it I discovered it was quite a bit further than I thought...I measured it out at 62 yards!!! Obviously not to be recommended, and to be honest if I'd realised I'd never have attempted it, but, it goes to show how flat and true these guns fire, it can only have dropped a few mm off aim to still hit the brain. I don't believe my Logun would have been that accurate, and to be honest, the only time I can see me changing it would be for a 410 or the new 510. My next purchase is going to be a rangefinder, I am still a little shocked that my ranging was that far out just due to the rain! foxnet22
i use a logun solo 177 its a good gun for pest control but if i had the choice of the two it would be the air arms i find it second to only the hw100.hope this helps

I have a MkI S200 with a ten shot mag' & even though it's my second gun - I shoot an HW77 for hunting - I wouldn't even condsider swapping the AA - except for an HW100. On a serious note, my local Gunsmith reckons the Loguns are way to over engineered & trouble waiting to happen
swift
this week I have serviced a logun axsor and a airarms s410 and rws rapier and old titan and the airarms wins hands down for it's design and allot less faults and wood be my choice in that price bracket. larson
i had both guns and much prefered the logun axsor, for me the 8 shot mag won it and the gun was acurate, you can add a rowan mag to the 400 but its ment to be a single shot so just buy a 410... in the end my logun broke and so did the
