para90
got my rifle back from Daystate after a service . to my surprise the stock had been replaced with a very nice walnut ambi. it was beech on the original rifle . seemingly there was a bit of an accident and the original stock was damaged so to replace it with a bonny walnut one is a top drawer thing to do so thx Daystate. i mailed them to say thx but also inquired why they set it at 10.5 lbs and not 11.5 i thought it would be set at. waiting on a reply but just thought id ask to see if any of you guys that have a daystate and have had it serviced what poundage did you get out of your rifle when you got it back.. darren 67
just a quick thought, have they cleaned the barrel and it needs to re-lead its self before it settles in to expected poundage?
Clubshot
Most New Gun's come out from New around 10.FP plus As aware - Factory that other pellets will take it over the limit From Factory Set pellets Give it a Few Shots and try other pellets Also on a warmer day power will be higher - Power limit's are so effected by Weather / Heat / precharged And good Shots can still hit and kill well @ around 10.00 Plus Having a Gun set to Close to Sub 12.00 FP limit Can cause plenty of Issues - As it only needs to hit 12.00 or Go over to make it a Fire Arm Also when chrono testing Base results on the best of 5 Shots Saves lots of problems - BOB/R

-Mongrel-
It will need to re-lead before it regains its former accuracy, not sure if that affects muzzle velocity/power though.
snipper
a barrel will need to lead up if its been cleaned to get a better seal on the pellets and dont get to hung up on power ............ 10.5 and upwards is more than enough power club shot knows his stuff

Where on earth did you get this information, the only way lead will help a barrel is if it's in such appalling condition the lead will fill the pitting and scratches. Laying lead down in a decent barrel will HINDER accuracy, not help it! Clean barrels shoot straight, not dirty ones!
durbsguy
I don't know which daystate you've got but I've got a FAC Airwolf and with the on board computer thing you can change the velocity according to the dvd that it comes with, maybe this needs to be reset.
