Cranfield
Tough luck Old Chap, but you are luckier than us. Your rain will stop, but we still won't have any wild turkeys. B)

B) I thought I saw some film of a few wild turkeys down Norfolk way? Bernard Matthews wasn't it? If they weren't mad they should have been, being walloped like that!! Lord Geordie
NTTF You ARE indeed lucky to have the Wild Turkey to hunt. I have watched Videos of the hunting and it looks fantastic when using decoys and calling them in Something i just wish i could give a go but it will have to wait a LONG time i guess like everything else I have a Friend who is hopefully moving to Canada in the next 5 years. Hopefully for HIM not me as i lose a good friend Story is HE will move there and i will pop over to visit now and then and hope to get some hunting done while there Anyway hope the weather has cleared by now and you managed to get a few Turkeys LG
new to the flock
LG What part of Canada is he moving to? Your right turkey hunting is a fantastic sport....and for those of you that dont knoe we use decoys and call the birds in, and these are not your dumb farm birds......Most people equate it with deer hunting, as the birds are very quick to respond to noise, and movement. Today I have the youngest home from school , so it will depend on wheather he is feeling up to going out today. If not there is always tommorrow as the season is a month long, and we are allowed to tag 2 birds. NTTF
