If I have got any of you the wrong way round i'm sorry but i'm pretty rubbish with names at the best of times and with us all having psuedonyms it is quite easy to be confused. Having said that i'm pretty confident i'm right

Nick

Thats very impressive Nick, I had a job remembering the name of the bed and breakfast where I was staying.

Looks like a great evening!

Terry have you moved then?

For bed and breakfast read Care Home, when I had breakfast I was the youngest there, (hence the good deal).

I was frightened that once I was in there would be no getting out, especially as they could not understand the accent.

That was the care home Terry ! I didnt want to say anything on the night as I thought you might enjoy the early morning Enema...

I must say that Runner bean and Onion Chutney is superb..Ive been having it on cheese and ham sandwiches the last two days.

Top Notch.

I did Terry and you can rest assured it went to a very good home! Brilliant stuff.

PS Oil-boy and I picked kilos and kilos of plums at the weekend and I gather demijohns have already been involved down in the Gower. The plum wine went down very well on the night so I'll try and get a bottle or two to you Terry (and Nick) through the PW courier system.

The Frampton-On-Severn country fair is on 11th Sept too. Local for a few who attended Sunday.

Thunderbird Plum juice is currently stewing over pectolase, by my reckoning it'll make about 20 bottles. So more than enough to go around, I'll take orders and once bottled off will sort out the willing recipients' with some of the good stuff ;)

I couldn't believe it when I arrived and Nick said "Neil, I've got a little present for you". What makes me stand out from the rest of us I was thinking? That bloody shirt certainly helped!

Honestly though, I got a lot of stick over it all evening - all good friendly banter and taken with a smile! I should have seen it coming really!

Those braised Venison thingies - my god they were good! I can't even begin do describe how good! If I could only ever eat one thing for the rest of my life I think they'd be my choice!

You did look a little confused when I said it.

The big question is are you going to start eating rabbit?

Cheers Dave, I think people are now sufficiently jealous!

Time to plan the next one, from memory it involved a combination of camping out on a farm, a hog roast, a few clay traps, air weapon plinking, more booze... :good:

Spot on.

I cannot wait, I am sure we could make a really great day of it.
