Pedro
I saw a lone swift about a week ago, but it must have been passing through, 'cos i've not seen one since. Down at the mother in laws in Devon three weeks ago and had loads of swallows, a few sand martins, but again no swifts, (they were also passing through, went back the next day and nothing). Haven't heard the cuckoo here yet, but fingers crossed. Coming back from work at 0300 this morning I saw a barn owl It finished off a top day, 12 hours double bubble and the first barn owl I've seen locally P.
