thanks for your kind comments chaps

you've made an eleven year old boy very happy

and a 37 year old dad very proud

LB i thought that you were coming to visit my auntie Freda in Ipswich too :( :(

Nick i let the little sod use my Browning later on at the DTL at Southdown

the gun was bigger than he was and it was all he could do to lift it but he still broke his

first five targets with it and single barrel :good::blush:

:)

Good on him

How much was it he ended up costing you in the end :) "£5 if you hit all of those" ....... i didnt see him concentrate as hard as that all day

Nick,

Isn't it funny how we never like the targets we can't hit

I shot 44/50 at my club shoot on the sunday. I liked all the targets there.

Cheers

Martin

:/

I must say that by my maths Brian shot more than 44,have a look

The targets were certainly challenging... next time we can avoid the high tower.... find some targets i 'like'

Well shot boys, sounds like good day out was had by all (well most!)

It just goes to show with the variety that sporting clays offers you can never realy describe yourself as a 75% shooter for instance, as all grounds are different. I can hit 80-90% at one ground I go to (and some people go ther ALL the time) but I wouldn't call myself an 85% shooter, as the next week I could hit 55-60%, or less, at a really hard one

Hence the reason sporting clays it will never make it into the Olypics as a disapline

It's your maths Nick :/

It definetly adds up to 44, Well done Brian.

I aggree totally with Stuart, I normally shoot somewhere in the 70 - 80% at sporting yet on saturday I shot awfully. I am going back to hit that battue at all costs though.

Cheers for an excellent day

:good: found a new shooting ground only batues I am afraid.

I am looking forward to one of those "Monday Madness" they sound like the buisness.

Either that or a .410 challenge................ No Mark YOU ARE BANNED :good: It would humiliate all of us

seriously old experienced good shots :good: (unless you are willing to give lessons at £5 a time) :good:

Could arrange a day at Parkford only a compact 3 skeet and 1 Olympic.
