proTOM1
I had to laugh, saw some turbo flappers at Weston Park yesterday! Do they really work? They were so frantic and unreal!! Yes they work well a mate of mine uses 6 and just a few decoys and he has been shooting huge bags over them ! I like them but like any decoy equipment what works 1 day might not work the next
Redditch
I like them but like any decoy equipment what works 1 day might not work the next Now that is a proven FACT !! And if somethings not working, try something different
fenboy
The answer to that question is they work for a few minutes ,then they dont work for a hour, then they work for 5 mins then they dont work for half hour etc , etc, etc or in other words they are totally unreliable from what I have found ,I also seem to be finding out once the retailer in question has your cash they really dont give a toss if it works or not buy one at your peril. sitsinhedges
Great bit of kit for adding a bit of movement to a pattern without going to a full blown magnet.
Cosd
Hardly used the rotary since getting the Turbo Flapper. And service from seller was excellent.

yickdaz
they are a great bit of kit,and used it 6 times now with good results, only felt i needed the rotary once since i got one, they can stick but a quick spray of oil inside the box sorts it straight away. Salopian
I'm talking turbo frantic flapper, not an ordinary flapper which I agree are good and nearly lifelike. No the one's I am on about were so frantic they were nearly shaking the pigeon's head off. Very unrealistic Plus despite numerous requests when will someone post a picture of the string operated flapper???

Very unrealistic Plus despite numerous requests when will someone post a picture of the string operated flapper??? I'm going to have to disagree on that one, I've seen birds as they are about to land they give a quick flick of the wings, just before they touchdown, and that's what I think it imitates well. Also seen them hovering above the crop almost. Again done with a very quick flap of the wings. On the contrary, normal flappers are a little slow in my opinion and don't imitate the bird landing at all. On the same token though, I expect they both work on their day and both won't on another, different ways for different days! It's simply another tool in the toolbox.
