flutterbyfran
Evening all! I am a (clay) pigeon shooter in W Yorks. I've about a year's experience - wish I could get more, but having children tends to get in the way of a Sunday morning outing! Just thought I'd say howdy as I've been cruising for a while, but not commented until now! Fran
Gordon R
Hello and welcome. Some decent shooting in West Yorkshire. Shot at Farnley Tias, Batley, Holmfirth (before it closed), Greetlands and Nostrop (Leeds). Great forum with plenty of helpful advice. :good: Edited October 7, 2011 by Gordon R
flutterbyfran
Thanks Gordon. Have shot at Crow Nest, Kelbrook and The Boar (although slightly out of W Yorks), Flying Black Nines at Denholme and Howden Clough so far. Always up for a new shoot, though. Cheers for the welcome! flutterbyfran
Do enjoy going to Kelbrook and The Boar, the others I've shot at are club shoots. Crow Nest Park is at Wyke on farmland...something different every time!...Howden Clough at Batley are woodland based and the Flying Black Nines are moorland based...my personal favourite as the wind makes every clay a different presentation!
