Not again!!!

Last year I managed to turn the barrel on my beretta s/a brown after a short trip on the marsh. I got them re-blued and decided I won't be making that mistake again.

So, Ive just picked up a Benelli Supernova. About 10weeks old and already, after one trip on the marsh, the barrel is full of surface rust!!! I'm well and truly ****** off considering it's supposed to be 'anti rust' coated.

Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to stop this happening. The gun is well oiled before I go on the marsh and thoroughly cleaned when I'm back, but it would seem an hour in the bag on the way home is enough to do the damage.

Powder coat is the way! I have done loads of barrels and my local only charges me £10! If you do manage to chip or scratch it you can get it sand blasted off and done again.
