Vince Green
The zombies are the people who buy it. Do you not think this gives strength to the antis vision of us as a load of dangerous wierdos living in some sort of deluded fantasy world? They will be cut and pasting this into their files to use against us at some later date.
HDAV
It's a marketing ploy my an american company for an american market, (who take haloween far more seriously than we do) how long until we see "silver" ammo for use against werewolves with the current trend for werewolf and vampire movies? You are viewing this with a (sadly) British mentality... this is a marketing gimmick in a market where guns are viewed (in the main) as a piece of sporting equipment and no more sinister than a golf club. It's just like Titleist coming up with a limited edition 'halloween' golf ball.

Vince Green
You are viewing this with a (sadly) British mentality... this is a marketing gimmick in a market where guns are viewed (in the main) as a piece of sporting equipment and no more sinister than a golf club. It's just like Titleist coming up with a limited edition 'halloween' golf ball. You are wrong about that, go on the American websites and see what they are saying about it over there. A lot of people are really concerned about it. Although they have more gun freedoms they also have a very active and well funded anti gun lobby. The fear is that it plays into the "gun weirdos" image that they try hardest to avoid because ridicule can be more damaging over a period of time than other forms of protest like statistics. Its also a tactic that the antis are finding more and more productive. You don't campaign directly you just highlighting the bad images and ridicle it rather than complain. Over a period of time the public opinion of shooters goes down and down much more effectively.
