John_R
You can fit £1.60 in 5p's into an empty 65mm 12 gauge cartridge. Currently have £21.40 That reminds me... If I had a penny for every time someone said I was OCD I would have £78.39.
Gee.
Here is one for the desk jockeys. Get a nice piece of wood to use as a base, then carefully drill the centre out of the cartridge caps (12g and .410's) and screw them down into the block of wood to make a nice desk tidy. Great for storing your pens and pencils in at the office.

Continental Shooter
I use the 12g one and fit clippers onto them! It's nice if you have good shells! oh, don't forget a bit of silicone spray to keep the paint in place.....when you use your lighter a lot tend to wear off!! He was getting the plastic bits out by holding the brass in a pair of pliers over his kitchen stove. Just wondered if there was a less messy way of removing all the plastic stuff. I wondered if sitting them in a pan of boiling water might loosen them enough to get them out with pliers. Have you had any luck using the boiling water method?
