Browning
Is it just me that's a lucky sod, or do others find that once you prove you can do a good job of vermin/pest control, your name gets around and new permission just comes flowing in? I've picked up three new farms this month, for fox and deer control, all gained by my original permission farmer putting my name forward when his mates tell him they're having a problem. After roaming around one farm last night, shooting 2 foxes and counting over 40 Fallow I just wonder can life get any better......... Do others find this happens to them? Axe
Well done you surely have come up smelling of roses. I have been able to secure some good shoots when others have failed. Word of mouth does work.
flytie
Nothing like a good reputation Browning to open doors, or farm gates for you! Well done that man!! Ft
Dave-G
Not been asked as a result of being put forward - but name dropping some of my permissions has worked, one having meant to call 'after the nod' so to speak. I have over 1000 acres available between several farms. Some of them are only available during the closed pheasant season. I'm lucky enough to now leave the all year round ones till the start of the shooting season.
bobt
Most of my permissions are from word of mouth, and via other permissions, in that "Ohh you shoot next doors land can you shoot mine?"
apbuild
Drop me a line if you need a hand Browning. Anything from pigeon to rabbits and deer...... Rob.
Catamong
It just goes to prove.....forget the silly snail mail letters, If you want to get more land than you can cope with, personal contact and word of mouth is the only way. Ferret Master
Surely if he has just shot 2 foxes he will be smelling about as far from roses as you can get!
miffy
Most of mine has come via word of mouth from farmers.......unfortunately no deer on any of the farms
