This is brilliant.

But for all the wrong reasons.

Agreed! I have never laughed this much at any humerous topics before.

Its a bit passed April fools :o

Jokes asside, you should get down there with a camera, and do some research. If you can get some pictures of these flesh eating rabbits, I know a few people that may be interested in some ;)

Why not use ferrets and nets to get the little beggers out if the council is not happy with guns. As to what to do with them....it is your preferance, I personally have no problems eating meat eaters, bears, cougar, (before anybody else says it....cougar, nothing wrong with a bit of pussy ;):/ ) sorry Henry and Cranfield  :o aswell as others and lets face it thats all we are.... meat. If you are not happy eating it then give to someone who is or feed it to the dogs or ferrets. I am sure you would be able to find lots of older fixed income folks who would welcome the rabbits.

NTTF

:yp: unfortunately, i've found that the local councils can be very awkward about 'bloodsports' as they put it, they seem to be forgetting that these sites are in the middle of an official rabbit clearance area :good::huh: they are even less likely to allow ferrets or dogs to be used as they would say "it is too cruel" (like the traditional foxhunt). to an extent i can agree with that, but i have no problem with a quick & clean kill. :/

Are you saying that using ferrets and dogs does not give clean kills?

:yp: not me, the councils... :/

you have my sympathies, you really do.lay off the absinthe

:yp: can't do that, when i find it i have to drink it (which isn't very often!)

 i may be getting rights for a couple of cemetaries which have rabbit problems, but i'm not entirely sure what to do with my quarry afterwards (as they are known to dig up & possibly eat our dearly departed...) what would you do...;);)

 Mate that sounds like a dead good shoot (oops) just make sure that your shooting is dead centre (sorry) I didn't mean for my grave humor to come out (******)

LOL is this one of those left handed screwdriver / a tin of stripey paint / a long weight / a long stand... kind of stories.

Has COLINSRI paid you to join PWF and take some of the heat off him

:/ When I was a chef the best wind ups were, fetching the souffle pump, find a potatoe correr, bucket of blue trout water and the piece de resistance a large leg of liver sadly I fell for them all.....

They're not like the rabbit out of Monty Pythons search for the Holy Grail are they ;):):D

:good: I thought those rabbits were real?

This is brilliant.

:good: I like your sense of humor "Magic darts".

sorry but i had quite a laugh reading this thread. i think maybe IF people have seen them moving body parts then it wud be solely to clear a way for a burrow. they are very clean animals believe it or not :). i know people are buried 6ft down but, the coffins have been known to raise up abit with certain grounds. :D rabbits are definitely vegertarians and never eat meat. there gut is speacially designed with a certain colon to take all the fibre they eat and we wont go into the Corprophagy :yp: basically they are not built to take meat!!! another example is their teeth. they do not have the canines needed to rip through flesh and only have teeth made to grind and crunch vegatation. :)

hope this clears it all up :)

:D :yp: well thats wot its there for !! :):)

can i also say mate. that if they dont want guns dogs or ferrets why not try traps. either cage traps or fen traps. i once used mark6 fen traps to control the rabbits around a church. that way public didnt know they were there as they were well hidden but still on runs. so it didnt upset any1 but it sorted the problem out as it was very successful :) .

Joking apart, are you going to be lamping the critters and will you be alone? Don't know about you, but a night shoot in a graveyard would certainly have my imagination working over time. You never know, you might actually see a warerabbit! :):D :yp:
