Spara Dritto
Well after getting the bipod and fitting it today I couldn't wait to take the gun out for a little shoot. After calling the farmer and confirming it was ok to shoot tonight I turned up and had a look around. The Deben Tracer LEDRay Tactical 400 Lamp preformed faultlessly and after trying a few different lenses the normal light seemed to work the best... Anyway, after a few shots and some stalking I moved to the other end of the field - still, nothing much presented it's self, but a fox. After some moving around and trying different areas I was close to giving up until I saw one crouching really low at about 40 yards away. Down I got and put the bipod to the test. I took the shot and it went right through the eye. After getting it back to the car I went out to try for another, I didn't get one but did see a shooting star which made a beautiful end to a really enjoyable evening. The rabbit is now clean and sitting in a vinegar/brine solution, I will call the farmer tomorrow and offer it to him to say thank you. Spara Dritto
Haha cheers guys. I know it sounds pathetic as most bring back 30 or 40. It was a learning curve and I hope to go back up in the next few days and try again.

Spara Dritto
The farmer's wife answered the phone and kindly refused my offer. Rabbit with a mango chutney sauce with mash and beans in on the menu for dinner!

Wharf Rat
Nice one! Hope it is the first of many. You might want to try using different filters as the bunnies may soon learn to associate a clear light with getting hunted. Don't worry about 'small' bags, it's the quality of the evening that counts.

Spara Dritto
Another call came through, it was the farmer asking for a rabbit next time! Haha, his wife doesn't like them, but he does apparently. I offered him this one but he wanted one that wasn't sat in vinegar, just the brine solution. Lovely chap!
