ME
I get through a fair bit of Port. I did try that Aldi Port - for a laugh at first, but it was quite drinkable. I just found it was very acidic to the extent it woke me up with terrible acid in the middle of the night! (I do tend to drink a bottle to myself which is probably enough to give anyone acid in fairness!) I now buy Taylors for general quaffing. I have a nice 1985 bottle of Fonseca that I will be breaking out over Xmas. We have also bought a load of Blacksticks Blue Cheese that is the perfect Port companion

Thunderbird
I've got a bottle of Graham's 1970 to crack open this year. Lord knows whether it's going to be any good but it was an excellent year.
woodcock11
I've got a bottle of Graham's 1970 to crack open this year. Lord knows whether it's going to be any good but it was an excellent year. Happy days - providing it has been stored well - on it's side in a cool dark quiet place [ie not in an understairs cupboard], it should be delicious. It is also valuable.... This is an extract from a wine merchant's list. 3.Grahams Vintage Port 1970 £129.97 From the outstanding 1970 vintage and scoring 93/100 Parker points, this superb port was the last one produced by the Graham family and is a soft tawny red colour and gloriously fragrant and flowery. Described by Parker as "The 1970 is a monumental vintage port and one of the greats of the vintage." Drink now - 2020. I worked for Graham many years ago and still have a few bottles left to look forward to. Happy drinking!
Thunderbird
Nice, I got it last year for my 40th but haven't opened it yet. I noticed it weeping a bit under the capsule but I'm hoping it's OK.
