new to the flock
Awwww. I reckon you are lumbered now! Fancy a dog to go with that cat pic you have Mungler? I'd love to keep her myself, she's as friendly with me (surprising since I was after her all day) and growls when anyone else comes near She'll let me handle the pups no problem too. John It looks like you have a new dog Mate, after all even with those pups she left your sheep alone NTTF

coupe312
John nice work there, jesus nice dog trap anyway! do you have a big trouble with strays in your area.? you'd think anyone who couldn't or didn't want to would pass a dog onto suitable hand instead of risking other peoples income. nice to see you went out of you way not to have to pull the trigger nice one

Browning GTS
Well done. I would go out of my way to save a dog, i even support the Dogs Trust. But if i see a person in a similer position eg a begger i am the opposite.
al4x
I take it its not a trained sheep dog, might account for the slinking round sheep but without wanting to go too far due to the pups

-=JR=-
Very commendable behaviour John, especially in light of the recent heated discussion regarding dogs Personally I'd like some form of dog licences to be reintroduced so that the sort of person that dumps dogs like this, or indeed the sort who allow their dog to worry sheep, should be forever prohibited from owning another dog. That said, it'd probably turn out to be more unenforceable red tape

Frank
Good man Frank, sure is a great feeling alright. What happened to the dog you rescued? John I gave her back to her owner, who was in hyterics, he was shooting with me for ducks, the dog got into trouble retreiving a duck and started to yelp for help. I tryd to keep my cool and saw the boat and rowed out to it and draged her out, boy did she get me wet and cold, but it was well worth it. Frank.
