Sons of Guns

Its an easy watching program, take it as it is a show for a redneck ex-marine who plays with guns.

Same concept as the other programs that follow companies, like the chopper one, they all play up for the camera

As for his daughter, I'd do her, her body's not bad, and with her panties rammed in her mouth so I don't have to listen to her awful accent

people can just walk in and buy anything they want!:P

Or take, as their electric door lock system is not working!

But I bet you would not get very far down the road after.

I like the program, and she adds somthing to it.

An even worse new series is "one man Army" also on Discovery.

The tommy gun was good. Why the local sheriff would think it would be a good entry weapon i dont know. To much recoil to high a rate of fire safer buying a mp-5.

I thought that too!

US Law Enforcement are into better Firearms than the Tommy Gun!M4Carbines are surely better entry weapons than the heavy Tommy Guns!

Have to say I started watching this thinking it would be pretty good, but after a while it really does grate on you. The main character Will just anoys the hell out of me. It also stikes me amazing that the can make a gun out of bits of old pipes in a warehouse then legally sell it to someone without having it proof tested or anything.

I also find myself screaming the telly with some of their suggestions - like the silenced shotgun... have they not got google? Surely they must have heard of hushpower. I just watched one this morning where they are asked to make a humain dispatch gun to kill alligators. Immediately I thought why dont they just use a .410 pistol? But no.. they get a bit of pipe and make something which looks like a light sabre but fires a .410 shot gun shell but with a hell of an awkward trigger mechanism. Incredibly the customer is delighted and promptly tries it out on a crocodile. But personally id not want to be messing about with that thing near a croc - surely a double barrelled .410 pistol would be easier to fire and give you a 2nd shot.

There has been some interesting bits with old historic guns and gun conversions done, but all in all they come across as a bunch of cowboys. Its all just a re-hash of American Choppers with guns... same characters, same very tight deadlines and same sort of feel to it.

Interesting having just done a bit of googling looks like a lot of it is staged for the telly. Apparently Will & his daughter got done by the firearms licencing people back in 2009 and had their gun dealer licenses revoked (rather than face jail) after the licensing people found that 10 guns had "gone missing" and they had no idea where they were. They then handed over ownership of red jacket to Vince & Chris who had the firearms dealing license. Will and Stephanie actually then worked for them although in the show it was portrayed as Will being the owner. Also, apparently Chris is now dating the daughter, and Vince has since left to set up his own business.

Not sure i`ll be watching many more of these.

A couple of years back I would have given it a chance, but the moment I saw the all too familiar trailers showing a montage of people working in a workshop and then arguing about things the show was done for.

Staged cack is still staged cack and an insult to the audience, no matter how interesting the premise of the show.
