Cranfield
If you saw the game against Hungary last night, did it give you confidence that we are going all the way this time ? The goalkeeper and starting back four seem sound and Beckham's right foot was playing well, but I'm not sure about the rest. Its frustrating how Lampard and Gerrard are massive players for their Clubs, but not as big for England. I have a horrible feeling that its all going to end in tears..................I hope not. jonno 357
One or two of them looked a bit ring rusty. Gerrard played very well. Lampard struggled Not too sure about the robotic goal celebration from the giraffe though Jonno
Dunkield
Knocked out in a penalty shoot out 3/4's of the way through the competition maybe? Either way it is gauranteed to be a grey hair generator watching...
wickedandlazee
like you say should be a grey hair generator lol - the second half was far the better, still never know why he plays lampard and gerrard together - too similar in my book hence one will perform while the other doesn't. Thought walcott handled it well for his age and beckham played far better than in 2002 - was certainly covering the pitch well and his right foot was on form too which is encouraging - Joe cole is gonna be the man of ther moment as i see it - he is certainly now a world class player in my book. Owen still nowhere being sharp as he can be - he needs to be 100% to be of any use as far as i am concerned and he is nowhere near that Cross the fingers for rooney My money is on the penalty shoot out to - can't see us holding a candle to the brazilians - yet again lol
paulos
im still dubious whether the beanpole is going to make any impact at all, he struggled to score when under pressure from the media when he signed at liverpool. i think hel bottle it again in the world cup. stevie g though, hes TOO good

It's a shame your not Brazil , as you WOULD have been in a world cup in recent years ... If i'm correct in thinking 1982 was the last time you managed to attend . all the best yis yp
