Thunderbird
Not a bad price that. Especially as they've got the oomph to go through a semi.

working dog
I tried the new version of super fast fibre in my 525 and did notice an increase in recoil. At first I thought I couldn't live with it but soon got used to the feeling of being kicked by a shire horse
Underdog
Used them today in my sxs, 67mm 29g 6s. I like m' Underdog.
Sandbank
Have just acquire some of the blue cased 70mm version of the 27g shells (original incarnation were 67mm). They are just as quick and a bit fierce, fine through a semi!
burchy1234
Just wondering what price people are paying for 27gm fibre / tho at the moment?
Yorkhawk67
Just bought 250 of the plastic wad to try. They are the ones with the blue cases paid £37 for 250 at York guns. Shot them today didn't feel a difference in recoil. Seemed ok to me Edited August 5, 2012 by Yorkhawk67

bigmcg
Shot 3 boxes of them last week 27g plastic wad. No issues with the recoil, £4.80 a box from the clay ground (same price as the Comp X 28g) fairly quick, clean cart. As I said, I didn't think the recoil was too bad, but what do you expect from a cheap cart?
littlerob
ouch £4.80 a box for clay cartridges i got some of the 27g in 7.5 for £3.70 a box and i only pay £3.60 a box for comp X
bigmcg
Is that buying in a slab or a thou? £4.80 is for a single box off the shelf.
pigeon pete
got a box from my bro in law and tried them on pigeon over deeks on say and there was no difference in recoil and hit a few pigeons ,they seemed fine , they were the blues 27g 70mm 7.5 but plastic wads ,would of liked fiber as shooting on farm but they were free

Sandbank
They have recently gone up £20 per thousand at my local dealer, are they still around £155 elsewhere?
littlerob
no £3.70 per single box but then again i dont get no discount if i buy a slab
Sandbank
Sorry, I know that this thread has been dredged up so often that if it were a tv programme it would be on Dave but could not resist...... Packaging and case design of Hull Superfast seem to have been through as many transformations as Doctor Who!! Variant 5 (I believe), still nominally 70 mm. bit closer to 68. Still 27g 7.5 and around £160 per thousand but black with a chrome base. Appearance alone bound to improve my scores by a couple of percent.
