bigbird
My trainer uses domestic rabbits in his pen and they go like hell once flushed! (with a spaniel up their chuff, love it!)
scotslad
I was told only to put male rabbits in ur pens as they don't dig burrows the same, so as long as plenty of cover/shelers will just jugg down to sleep. Has anyone else head that? Might be worth u delousing/fleaing the rabbits when u get them incase they have any mixxy on them (althou prob won't matter as u have no rabbits to transfer it too) Edited November 15, 2013 by scotslad

mickyh
I thought that when I initially read the post, but I don't think that statement is correct. I seem to remember it only being non-native species (like the grey squirrel)! But I could be wrong so ready to be corrected. It would actually be nice to know the legal answer as I had an argument with a mate about it. I thought the Romans brought the rabbits over with them? Which would make them non-native. stubby
I thought the Romans brought the rabbits over with them? Which would make them non-native. you beat me to it, rabbits are non native, you can tell non native pests as they have no closed shooting season, ie squirrels, canada geese, RABBITS
