chrispti
That is what i found with the Escort, looking at buying a SX3 or Extrema now. Question is will the camo come off these just as quickly? and if it does i might as well not bother with a camo one and go for a black one. The camo on my old xtrema2 was fine for the few years I owned it
Chr15j
Short answer....No you don't need a camo gun! Edited March 3, 2012 by Chr15j
chrispti
Short answer....No you don't need a camo gun! You do for clay shooting, especially if you own a pump matching camo attire complete with face vail are also essential
silver pigeon 3
They love the camo guns at clay grounds  especially when you smash 10/10 when they have just missed 8/10 of theirs and had a good winge about the clays being to fast/high/wrong colour
Dekers
So, after reading all the replies where the general consensus appears to be that camo on a gun is unnecessary, I've just come back from the gunshop with one of these... Camo. finish strikes again. Hey, get what you like, but unless you also intend to get a serious cammo outfit as well you have wasted your money. SKIN is the worst by a mile! Oh yes, if you can put the gun down and still find it the cammo doesn't work! Edited March 3, 2012 by Dekers
Tam
They love the camo guns at clay grounds  especially when you smash 10/10 when they have just missed 8/10 of theirs and had a good winge about the clays being to fast/high/wrong colour Not had a problem with my Extrema's cammo wearing off As for birds seeing a gun - by the time they see mines it's to late B)
silver pigeon 3
Cheers Tam, but we all can't be as good as you otherwise all geese and ducks would be extinct
Asa Bear
In my experience the best camouflage for a gun would be to disguise it as a walking stick!

Four Fingers of Death
Well said, you could have an orange gun as long as you kept it still, Actually, ducks are one of the few animals that aren't colour blind as far as I remember. They make duck hunters wear blaze orange here, which doesn't make a lick of sense. I think if we suddenly need camo, how come we got along well enough for the past few centuries without camo guns? It is like rifle shooters getting pedantic about polishing brass. No one had a tumbler fifteen years ago, now it seems to be an essential bit of equipment. Grandalf
Camo the gun on a daily basis - bit of mud smeared on it. Makes you clean the gun when you get home too. Short answer - No
ayano3
I had the chance of a camo synthetic Winchester and a Wood sx2 and chose the sx2. I have seen the camo coming off barrels etc. The lad I mentor on the Wash is always complaining that the Synthetic SX3 he has is far colder to the hands than his old wood browning and cant shoot in gloves. Dekers
simpleanswer NO Deershooter Its taken 36...37 post so far....**** me.... Unless you camo EVERY part of you...and very few bother with skin, which stands out a mile, then why bother with a camo gun?
