Odd looking thing, but by all accounts in the 2.9 diesiel a pretty capable truck. Old Merc engine so will be mechanically reliable and fitted with a decent set of tyres good off road. We used to do some work for a Daewoo dealer and i have driven 2, nothing to write home about but not to much to criticise either.

If it is something cheap you want, but also don't want a old landrover/frontera etc then probably worth a look.

Capable same spec as the musso but different bodywork 5 cyl oil burner from MERC van and gearbox electric control transfer box parts can be a bit scarce and the Daewoo and ssangyong ones are slightly different

I used to work for Daewoo back in the day as a parts manager. The only problems we had with the Korandos was the alarm and immobiliser system

Is it the same as the one used in the Musso? I bet they rarely get nicked i cant start the bloody thing with the keys!

I had one for a few months for a long term magazine review. Where do you start? Trim falls off, brakes are made of tinfoil, the normally aspirated (diesel) engine is so slow you'll think you're going backwards (so make sure its a turbo) and the worst bit for you is that once they get a bit long in the tooth the electric transfer box selector won't work so there's no four wheel drive even though its telling you its engaged. Oh, and parts are expensive. Looks are the least of its problems. Have fun!

Just to add a little spice to this, I have promised WB that if he buys one of these monstrosities I will stand out of the sunroof with a gay pride flag and pink leather hat while he drives me around Kettering.

Get your pink hat and your Gay pride flag out Zapp

ITS HOMEEEEEEEEE
