For your information I know what the rules are I have read them……..

 

If you are having a dig at me mate just read the thread properly nowhere was I getting at the MODS. I aren’t going to ****** off as you put it if I have a question for the Mods I will ask so take your own advice.

And for you and stuartp’s information I think the mods do a good job sorting the **** out on the open forum……..

 

 

I like this site, but the rules are getting worse. I don’t see why you cant say or type whatever you want through the PM system

I’ve read a lot of threads on other shooting forums of members who no longer use this site, due to the strict and quite pointless rules that you impose.

Now im not saying that rules shouldn’t be there, but you should lighten up

It’s a decent forum you have here, don’t spoil it!

 

 

If you want to send someone an address to another site via pm just leave off the http: and type the name. The person can then add it into his address bar.

But will this not be against the rules as

I ran a football club for 5 years that had 3 teams & had around 100 members each year.

Each year most of them voiced there own opinion on one thing or another, which was or was not the same as all the rest

 

Now those people used the football club for what they wanted, but when asked to help run the club they refused.

You have not put any effort into the running of this forum, you are just useing it for your enjoyment. So instead of wingeing how you want something that you have made no effort to build except it for what it is.

 

What gets on my **** (from my ex) is you people who like to voice an opinion "DO THIS DO THAT" "WHY THIS WHY THAT" BUT when push comes to shove all you can do is SCRATCH YOUR ****.

 

If this forum is going down hill & don't opperate the way you like then "BUILD YOUR OWN" & stop your wingeing, I don't think i will miss you.

I agree the rules are the rules but did you not get the point that other people said that we were told we should use the PM system to send that information to other members rather than use the open forum.

 

Good for you running a football club im not into football golf's my game and i do a lot of work on various commitees at my club (run competitions) and also help with the coaching of the junors so to be honest i dont think you know me at all and i put a lot of time into my hobbies.

I think i put as much into this forum as yourself and a lot of other members by posting ect.

One thing if we needed to pay a yearly sub my question is would you i certainly would.

Also could you show me where im wingeing i asked a question and Henry d answered it that should have been the end of the thread.

If they can't be read or automatically text screened, how can mods et al know that other site links are being passed about thus contravening the rules? If it's not the case why bother including PM's in the rule? as suggested earlier, if thems the rules, thems the rules.

Gents, I'm sure the mods are big enough to stand up for themselves without everyone beating their chests and sabre rattling when something is questioned. That's bad enough but then to trade personal insults over it and issue ultimatums (put up or p off sort of stuff) is teddy out of cot behaviour.

 

But, of course, you've stuck up for the site so that makes it alright then

 

It's pretty obvious that the management of the site is well catered for without tantrums from members when its challenged. You just make yourself look a ****.

To put in a nut shell what i am going on about is:

 

When people give there time to do someting & others use that time to benifit themself, then question the way things are done.

Please don't think that i don't agree with you my only point is do we have the right to question it.

 

I cant for the life of Me see from what angle we have a right to do so.

 

The reason that i said about the football club is that i put a lot of time & effort in to make things work, people questioned me on the way i done things but were only members but not helping.

The rules were made through ex in what was best for the running of that club. Opinions were made from people who had no knowledge of what was best.

 

My real point is that the Owners/Mods know what they want from the site & make the rules to acheive it,

do we have the right to Question it ?

 

I hope that makes it clear where i am coming from

I've been following this for a while now ..........No dis-respect Will (teal ) but certain members keep your forum alive MODS included ..........

 

Just my opinion ......nothing more but it is the way I see it

We'd still have a bloddy poll tax if people hadn't challenged the people who made the rules.

Dave we don't pay anything to use this Forum, take it or leave it.

I can't see what gives you the right to Question the running of this Forum.

 

Running of the Country is totaly dif, you work to support the Country & you pay Tax so yes of course you have a right to Qusestion it, but please what are we talking about here.

 

Put it this way i'm starting a cycle club, to be a member you have to have playing cards pegged on so they make a noise when the wheels go round.

"If you dont like the rule dont Question it don't be a member move on", If my club should fail because of the rule so be it.
