sishyplops
Hi all, looking to buy an air rifle, don't need a PCP or anything too serious but would like a quality make that will last a long while so looking at a Weihrauch springer, what is the difference between a HW95 and a HW95K? looking for a real nice used one local to norfolk / suffolk if you have one, but don't know the difference between the two if there is one, letme know if you have one 07923 430538, or an HW80 HW97 etc etc Thanks in advance Richard Edited March 30, 2012 by sishyplops
durbsguy
In regards to good quality and longevity of the rifle they're German made so that should say it all. The only difference between the 95 and 95K is the one with the k has a carbine barrel. Personally I prefer the fixed barrel accuracy so I would lean towards the 97 or 77, but having said that my 80 has never let me down. chrisjpainter
I'm a fan of the 95k. was the first one i had and was super to use and packed a mean punch! if you canna rustle one up on Gunwatch, then the tailor made classified websites a re a good bet, gunstar.com guntrader.com could be worth a look

washerboy
95 is only made in k form, old ones had a muzzle break, new ones have the excellent silencer. mines tuned by venom and i love it
jgguinness
I have a lovely HW80k that I may be selling. I love it, tremendous rifle, never let me down, loads of power (John Darling can't be far wrong). Only selling to fund a rimfire. PM me if interested. Kind regards Jonathan
bruno22rf
I'm with Topshunt on this-if you are strong enough to use a TX200 then you need look no further-failing that I would go for the 80-at our limits its only working at just over half its capability-but i'm guessing the weight is not much less than the 200.If you buy a TX200 in good order-.177 cal and you are disappointed with it-I will bend over and let you kick my rrrrr's. washerboy
tx,s are brilliant much better then the hw 95, 80 etc straight from the box. they dont need tuning as much , if at all. the finish on the springs is class compared with the likes of a hw80, rough edges and for the money shameful. so if you can get to try a tx mk3 or the hc(hunter carbine), then im sure you will love it.
