I am trying to suss out the worse shots and get squadded up with them I am off on me hols to Iceland this weekend (anything to get away from this humidity) so I will catch up the week running up the big day. barrie0
Nowt wrong with them at all , I use them all the time as well as around 50% of the members at the clay club . Point the gun in the right direction and the clay will break . Now and again i do get the odd box that seems to chuck out confetti .

deadeye ive
Point the gun in the right direction and the clay will break . Ahh, that's the bit i have the problem with SL If you don't manage to score higher than me then you've got serious problems ........What's all this talk of confetti then Fibre wads don't hold the pattern as tight as plastic when the shot exit's the barrel BTW ......... dunganick
D&J's rubbish, heavy recoiling cart most cartridges will be fine if your used to shooting in the field you will more than likely not notice hte difference. Its only when you clay bash alot that you start to pick things apart and recoil starts to become a consideration. As for fibre wads, most of us on this forum wont notice any difference between using fibre and plastic wads.

webber
Eley First, are a budget priced cartridge. I go through around 2000 per summer. They are mainly used by my guests. I shoot a more expensive Eley cartridge my self, but you get what you pay for. Interestingly I bought another 500 yesterday and took 2 guests to North Wales Shooting School. I also shot the Firsts on this occasion, and had no trouble with the sporting, driven or high tower birds. I dont do DTL or Skeet. I did however have 3 cartridges so stuck that the ejector would not shift them. I doubt that its a gun problem, and I am therefore sending some spent cartridges and information to Eley today. I am of the opinion that some of the end caps are slightly mis-formed. I will report on PW in due course. webber
