ScottCromwell2
I have a 17HMR CZ American, decent scope with rubbish mounts, its a 3-9 x 56 so the mounts need to be quite high? Any suggestions?
Alycidon
Sportsmatch in Leighton Buzzard will make you some if they don't do them. Other than that decent mounts are found at higher price levels. A
seeker
you can measure the gap and work out what actual size you need .... low, medium, high etc mean different things to different manufacturers ..
bullet boy
Sportsmatch are good enough and have served me well over the years. You probably will need the High Mounts for your 56mm Objective Lens! BKL mounts are supposedly to be good but as ive said Sportsmatch are good enough! ATB.
bicykillgaz
Sportsmatch high mounts will be fine I've had them on a couple of 56mm objective scopes and still had room to spare
bullet boy
Ive got Sportsmatch High Mounts for my S&B 8X56 on my .17HMR. Hope this helps.
mick miller
Sportsmatch on all my rifles except the 243, even then they would be plenty good enough.
Dekers
I have a 17HMR CZ American, decent scope with rubbish mounts, its a 3-9 x 56 so the mounts need to be quite high? Any suggestions? Its a CZ and a HMR you don't need to spend a fortune on mounts, there are plenty good enough in the £10-£20 price range, Sportsmatch are near the top end of the scale that you need! You can have these posted for £10 if you are interested, brand new, surplus to requirements!

Sharpshooter.123
As dekers said, it's pointless putting £50 mounts on a 22lr or 17hmr. £10-£20 for mounts is plenty good enough
ScottCromwell2
I need a set of mounts that someone knows will fit a CZ rimfire with a 56mm objective lense?
Dekers
I need a set of mounts that someone knows will fit a CZ rimfire with a 56mm objective lense? They keep losing zero If you look carefully at the bottom left of the left hand mount of the set that Dekers is doing his damnest to flog to you at Post #8, you will notice tha the clamps are reverseable for different sized grooves. You haven't by any chance........?
