DaveK
funny thing is they were both sent in the same envelope How can that be? Referees are supposed to fill in the form and post it themselves to the firearms dept. So how could both have been in the same envelope? bedwards1966
How can that be? Referees are supposed to fill in the form and post it themselves to the firearms dept. So how could both have been in the same envelope? Both referees sent theirs together? Nothing wrong with that, it's the applicant who isn't allowed to see what's written by the referees, I'm sure there is nothing saying the referees can't see what each other has written, or post it together. Sharpshooter.123
Yep perfectly acceptable, as long as the applicant doesn't see what they have put it's fine

Jolly
why cant the applicant see what the refferees have written ? I didn't but I'm sure they would have if I had asked
Tomm
well i got mine back and posted them with my application and all my went fine with no questions asked? Tom
stubby
yup, all mine got put together in one envelope and posted/regested letter to make sure they recieved it, each refferee can seal their form in an envelope, which you then put into your bigger envelope, not rocket science
Fisheruk
why cant the applicant see what the refferees have written ? I didn't but I'm sure they would have if I had asked Because it says so on the application form. If you have a bad comment, would you send it in? Don't forget this is to check your suitability.
