blade
Went for a bash on the peas today and yesterday we have to fields on our shoot. The game keeper has made a nice permanent hide in the corner of one of the fields so gave that one a go first. Set up about 14.00 few about but forgot battery for magnet and it was one of those days i think it would have worked. So set up with 8 shells on spring sticks no pattern as such just random but birds soon started to show an interest. So replaced decoys for real birds as i shot them. There was a steady stream of birds coming over a large tree at the other end of the field and i think if i had my magnet they would have probably spotted the movement.Well ended the day with 34 pigeons so not to bad.Went back today and shot the other field not so many pigeons about but the farmer is on to are gamekeeper about the pigeons so try to keep him happy.Shot 12 pigeons 13 jackdaws and a crow iv put some pics up. view of the permanent hide the first field fridays bag view of the hide from the decoys with sun at the back of it think the pigeons were blinded second field backs on to a cow field thats why i had so many corvids todays bag This a bit of video i took saturday trying out one of those action cams http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l293/millyellie2/?action=view¤t=movie1.mp4 As you can see from the last shot was miles away should of had a double on them last 2 jackdaws Edited May 13, 2012 by blade
