Went for a bash on the peas today and yesterday we have to fields on our shoot. The game keeper has made a nice permanent hide in the corner of one of the fields so gave that one a go first.

Set up about 14.00 few about but forgot battery for magnet and it was one of those days i think it would have worked. So set up with 8 shells on spring sticks no pattern as such just random

but birds soon started to show an interest. So replaced decoys for real birds as i shot them. There was a steady stream of birds coming over a large tree at the other end of the field and i think if i had my magnet they would have probably spotted the movement.Well ended the day with 34 pigeons so not to bad.Went back today and shot the other field not so many pigeons about but the farmer is on to are gamekeeper about the pigeons so try to keep him happy.Shot 12 pigeons 13 jackdaws and a crow iv put some pics up.
