I went out this morning to find my gun shooting at an estimated 20 flbs with grit big flames banging out of it so i went home and stripped everything out of it and to find piston and piston face covered on oil so i cleaned every thing every last bit of the tx200 and even barrel and the spring is covered in another type of oil bu thsts fine on the txs theres no qay for it to get into the piston but should the piston and the metal rod behind it what the piston face is onto like the piston should it.have a little oil on it or dry ?

I still don't understand most of that, but how did you estimate 20ft lb and where has this magical oil come from that massively increases the power?

my dads got a 20flbs .177 so i was testing both and im not sure i bought the gun second hand and never cleaned the insides but after a few shots there would be a little smoke out the barrel then a bit more and on the night you could see flames

why its not ne more...... took all the parts out and literaly scrubbed every last bit of oil out of the chamber and it feels smoother now and just left a little on the spring and its shooting 11.6flbs 8.4's but before it was 11.3 when i first bought it but its shooting laods more consistant now than before

 No its not false its what`s on there web sites based in there home country (ie) Commeta spain. Hatsan Turkey. The Commeta 400 leaves the factory in spain at 20 ftlb as standard and as to be de-tuned for import into the UK. The Hatsan AT44 in turkey leaves the factory at 24 ftlb but again has to be de-tuned for the UK market. Hull cartridge import Weihrauch Rifles and they have to by law check every Rifle and adjust its power to just under the 12 ftlb UK limit before its released for sale. Happy :shoot:
