You could always get your current o/u barrels chromed, I don't think chroming temps are high enough to seperate your barrels and chroming is only a few thou thick so you should be able to stone it back into your action. Also means you can have the gun of your choice instead of any old thing just cos it's chrome........ Don't think it's a good idea though,......... I sprayed my old pigeon gun matt black some years ago, having seen the barrels flash on video, figured that the pigeons could see that a mile away, but once you've done I'm not sure there is any going back

I can nickel, chrome or gold plate in addition to blueing and anodising if it helps :good:

Superb to know, but not sure about chrome - think of all the finger prints - oh no my OCD just kicked in :D

Out of interest, does chrome heat bloom ?

If you look at the guy in one of those previous posts he's wearing white cotton gloves so as not to leave fingerprints!

I thought he had just come straight from a snooker tournament :lol:

They all look a bit 'Pimp My Gun' to me.

Have to admit ever since I started shooting I have always fancied a Flodman. -- Mate has a nickle Kemen - supposed to be one of a few made for a top shooter. - I used it once at DTL and it's a bit flash - didn't improve my shooting.
