Bluebarrels Posted July 15, 2012 Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 Met up with Turbo33 this morning for a few hours over the wheat,had a couple of hours mooching about watching the birds and generally chewing the fat Eventually we decided to lug the gear over to our chosen location between a rape and wheat field, we deployed the magnet and put the deeks out,the birds were very wary possibly due to the fact of having been shot at in the last 48hrs The birds did commit but not as readily as normal,and if im honest i shot really badly to start with,T33 shot well and the bag soon had a few birds in eventually i started to connect and we finished with 38 picked and 6 lost to the crop Jack T33's dog worked like a trooper and made many excellent retrieves a good day to be out and about with the gun,thanks to T33 for a good day and an extra big thanks to Jack for finding so many birds BB Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
