"duck shooting"

Recommended Posts

It's the main difference between GB and USA - They don't need permission to shoot anywhere - They buy their tags (usually a sheet of 6 at a time for waterfowl) and then go shoot 'em on public land!! Opening days and the first weekends of any particular season get very, very crowded and you always get reports of casualties which is why they tend to wear a lot of orange!!

Aside from that, it's in Utah - Ain't a lot else happening in Utah!

Its a different league of shooting, lot more ducks and geese over there.

I go on one of the american duck shooting sites, they are just as passionate about shooting as we are,but the numbers of birds i can only imagine.....

:good:

Its no different to our wildfowling clubs in the UK.

We all look forward to getting out on the 1st day of the season, the yanks have bag limits, as alot of our clubs do.

The only difference is they have 100 x more waterfowl than we have here :good:

Sounded like they were repelling an invasion not duck shooting!

The Americans have thousands upon thousands more of nearly everything compared to the UK, so everything they do is on a bigger scale. They do seem to be picking shots well, not blasting aimlessly like others do, so a good approach to shooting! :good:
