Terry P
I;ve not been to the marshes as I've decided not to join any clubs this season, I'm going to travel alot and put the adventure back into my fowling, found a localish marsh that free to local residents so that sould be intreresting, really looking forward to seeing new marshes and travelling around the country meeting new wildfowlers, I may not shoot as many but i really reckon its gonna be as exciting as when I very first started down the muddy road of wildfowling. . I might start a thread about my travels.

wildfowler.250
Only 2 weeks on Saturday might make a few impulse buys between now and then. Some new deeks ect. Anyone think it'll be 'worse' this year because it's on a Saturday? I think most people take they day off anyway? I've got just over 2 weeks off in sept. so hopefully get a few :yp:
wildfowler.250
PS anyone know where I can pick up a good jacket for the lab? She's pretty small to be fair so maybe one that fits a large spaniel?
scolopax
Which club have you joined? Rockland, plus I will hopefully get some access to some foreshore through another route.
anser2
Richard i hoped I might see you at the Rockland meeting on Monday , but guess you were working. It was a very good turnout with about 80% of the members present. Booked my marsh for the first morning and had a good chat and a beer or two with fellow club members. Not many duck about by all accounts , but who knows what the start of the season will bring. Plenty of teal and mallard starting to come into the N Norfolk marshes this week. Some tidy looking spots, I saw a few geese but they were in the reserve.
sky gipsy
PS anyone know where I can pick up a good jacket for the lab? She's pretty small to be fair so maybe one that fits a large spaniel? I would advise these folk http://www.gundoggear.co.uk/index.asp Give Emma a call with your labs sizes & I'm sure she will help. I guessed the wrong size for my "Pig", sorry.. Lab, & she swapped it for me with no bother...top people to deal with. S.G.
