I cut a hole I to the flip cap. Tight fitting to the lens push in as far as you can so the adjustment pin is tight to the flip cap. glue inside and outside the cap. Make it so you can still tighten the screw to adjust the focus .. Hope that helps

I will admit mine is on hold for a bit as i really need a stronger IR torch or laser but with christmas and the misses birthday i have no money :(

 

Normal lamping duties with the torch has resumed until further notice on my end

 

Cheers mate, thanks for the honesty. I was told they are pretty poor even with car headlights in use.

Im looking to get some sort of night vision sorted for my .22 rimfire, but dont have the cash to spend on expensive equipemnt, can anyone recommend a camera and torch combo that works well for .22 range, So 10- 100 yards. cheers

My nv set up

Ir laser modified to run off my Logan lamp battery,

A red dot laser to help with range finding in the dark. both Attached by a quick detach mount.

I can easly identify quarry up to 40yards,

Got a little carryed away with the camo tape. :good:

yes you can mine is a sony handycam 30g hdd with night mode and 170 lighforce with a ir filter

Hi do you use the sony standard or have you removed the filter & what range you get with the 170 with ir filter.I've just broke a digi camera i was gona use trying to remove the filter.
